Universal TypeID Architecture

The Universal TypeID Archetceture (UTA) allows for:
1. Easy exchange of category data across multiple websites.
2. A minimum number of tables with maximum relational flexibility.
3. A common syntax for contributions by multiple developers.

The following ID structure is available for public use under the Attribution/Share Alike Creative Commons license.

TypeID Ranges
0 to 9999 - Groups and Organizations
10000 to 19999 - Locations
20000 to 29999 - Events
50000 to 59999 - Vehicles
60000 to 69999 - Individuals
70000 to 79999 - Plants and Animals
80000 to 89999 - Content, News, Resources
90000 to 99999 - Elements *
100000 and above -Products and Equipment / Custom Types

* Elements consist of: Requests, Applications, Surveys, Reservations, Observations, Reports, Files, Images and Descriptive Variables.
